"The Women of Jazz" video

The Women of Jazz debuted at the "Kuumbwa Jazz Center" in Santa Cruz, CA on May 26, 2016. It is a superb show featuring respected, female vocalists from the Santa Cruz-Monterey Bay areas. Because this video awaits proper permissions, you are asked to be careful. So, until we let you know whether the dust has cleared, don't distribute it and do keep it to yourself. Otherwise, you might not get to see the Women of Jazz at the Monterey Jazz Festival or the Kuumbwa, again! OK? Ok! Now, click the link and get your armchair vittles so you can relax and enjoy the show.

"For The Love Of Ray" video clip

Many tasks must be accomplished to make live content available in cyberspace. An entertainment blockbuster show begins with an idea that becomes a reality through the efforts of various participants.

Gary Souza had an idea to produce a CD paying tribute to his favorite singer: Ray Charles. By discussing this idea with others, a determined group formed; and, the project began to take shape. After many months of preproduction, the resulting CD:
"For The Love Of Ray" was released in stores and on the web.

The vocal and music performances on the CD led to a live show premiere for the CSU Monterey Bay (CSUMB) Music and Performing Arts (MPA) Heritage Festival on April 29, 2006.

The audience reflected the sense of community that ran throughout the production to the finale in well-earned success with lots of applause.

Ms. Charmaigne Scott is featured with the Ray Charles Tribute (RCT) Ensemble. The event was presented by the CSUMB MPA Institute at the World Theatre located on this prestigious Seaside, CA campus.
